In 1990, the karsevaks came to Ayodhya and stayed, now known as Karsewakpuram is fully decorated with flowers of various hues ahead of the Pran Partishtha ceremony of Ram Mandir tomorrow.

The Mulayam Singh Yadav government in 1990 passed orders to open fire at the karsevaks, they came and stayed at Karsewakpuram during their struggle for Ram Temple. Earlier there used to be a ground that gradually developed and the decoration itself talks about the change in time.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai’s residence is also decorated with twinkling lights. Meanwhile, the traditional rituals continued with fruits, havan, prayers, and the daily prayers a day ahead of the grand inauguration of Ram Mandir.

“Today, on January 20, 2024, daily prayers, havan, etc. were held. Rituals with sugar and fruits also took place. 81 Kalash were established and worshipped in the courtyard of the temple. Evening puja and aarti were also held,” Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth posted on X.

However, posters depicting the Lord Ram in his childhood will be put up at the entry gate at the grand and auspicious ceremony tomorrow, (January 22).

The security management in and around the city is at its peak. According to the DGP Vijay Kumar, large number of devotees has already arrived in Ayodhya and are residing in Dharamshalas and Aashrams. The managers of such residencies are urged t ask the vistors not to head to darshan together. As the proper arrangements for darshan will be made after Jan 22.
