A group of Muslim males attacked a 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old girl who had gone to see a movie in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka. After the incident, the 20-year-old male reported it to the police.
The incident happened in Dakshina Kannada’s Sullia Taluk. The mn and the woman had gone to a theatre to see the movie Kantara. They were grabbed by a few Muslim men in the theatre, who questioned their presence there.
The man and the girl were later evicted from the theatre by the mob, who then attacked them outside. Police submitted a report and filed a FIR in the case based on a complaint made by the 20-year-old male. But no arrests have yet been made.
