Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said on Saturday that there should be no politics surrounding Amul’s entry into the state, despite opposition from the Opposition Congress and JD(S).
In response to former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s remarks that “all Kannadigas should pledge not to buy Amul products.” Bommai stated that there should be no fear over the Karnataka Milk Federation’s Nandini brand. (KMF). Nandini will become the country’s number one brand, but there must be no politics with Amul.

“Nandini products are sold in other states,” the chief minister remarked, adding that “all steps will be taken to overtake Amul in the competitive market.”
In the state, KMF offers milk and curd under the brand name Nandini.
D K Shivakumar, Karnataka Congress president, declared in Bengaluru that Nandini was a better brand than Amul.
“We want to safeguard our milk and our farmers.Nandini, which is a superior brand than Amul, is already available. We don’t need Amul, our water, milk, and soil are all strong,” Shivakumar says.

On Friday, Siddaramaiah stated, “All Kannadigas must unitedly resist the usurpation of the KMF, which is built for the welfare of the country’s farmers. Every Kannadiga should pledge not to purchase Amul products.”
In addition to language treason by imposing Hindi and land treason by trespassing within state borders, the BJP government is now going to betray the farmers by shutting down Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), which is the livelihood of millions of dairy farming families in the country, the Congress leader continued.

Siddaramaiah also summoned Bommai, pleading with him to intervene immediately and prevent Amul from entering through the back door.
In this regard, he stated that Union Home Minister Amit Shah should bring the state referendum to his attention and put an end to this deceptive thinking.
