The four-day youth festival Kasturi-2024 of Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya concluded colourfully with a fashion show and fair. Teams from many colleges participated in this Youth Fest for four days. In the Just a Minute Jam competition held on Thursday, 20 participants expressed their views on various topics.
In this, Nasma Rahat stood first, Preeti Chaudhary stood second and Madhav Sharma stood third. In the group singing ‘Shrutarang’ competition, the team of Kanodiya College stood first and the team of Parishkar College stood second.
In the ‘Rasrang’ folk dance competition, 7 teams gave colourful presentations of various folk dances. The fashion show based on the theme ‘Traditional Textiles of India’ showcased fashion on the ramp.
On the occasion of the conclusion of the Youth Festival, Principal Dr Seema Aggarwal expressed her gratitude and said that the participants from almost all the educational institutions of the city participated enthusiastically in the four-day festival and made the event a success.
He said that such events in co-scholastic activities provide a golden opportunity for the youth to showcase their talent and compete. As part of the fair, 24 stalls of handmade jewellery, various garments and food items were set up on the college campus.
