Rahul Gandhi ,Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, On Saturday, launched a vigorous attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
While addressing Congress workers in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Gandhi declared that the Congress party would defeat the BJP in the state in the next election, just as it did in Ayodhya during the Lok Sabha polls in 2024.
“They have challenged us by threatening us and damaging our office. Let me tell you that we are united and will break their government just as they damaged our office. Mark my words, the Congress will contest in Gujarat and defeat Narendra Modi and the BJP in Gujarat just as we did in Ayodhya,” stated the Congress leader.
Gandhi here referred to a clash between Congress and BJP workers outside Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan on July 2 after Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on Hindu’s sparked a controversy. BJP’s Youth Wing members had come to protest against his remarks which led to stone pelting from both sides.
Rahul Gandhi predicted that the Congress will win Gujarat and make a fresh start there.
