Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda criticized the Congress, labeling its model as a ‘laapata model’ (missing model) during a public meeting in Alot assembly constituency. Nadda highlighted the absence of essential services like water supply, development, electricity, and roads during the Congress’s tenure.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, addressing a gathering, emphasized the transformation of India’s perception over the last nine and a half years. He noted that India, once viewed as weak and poor, is now considered a strong country. Singh highlighted India’s elevated stature globally, with a significant improvement in the economy, now standing at fifth place.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a rally in Shajapur district, predicted a BJP storm that would uproot Congress in Madhya Pradesh. Modi expressed gratitude for the tremendous support from the people, anticipating a significant political shift in the upcoming polls scheduled for November 17.

The state, with 230 Assembly constituencies, witnessed a political upheaval in 2020, leading to the fall of the Congress government and the BJP forming a new government under Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The counting of votes is slated for December 3.
