The Chief Minister’s Relief Fund was authorized by the Uttarakhand government on Saturday to provide housing to displaced people as a result of the Joshimath landslide at a reduced cost.

According to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s directives, residences would be distributed at a rate of Rs 4000 per month for six months. Families affected by the damage to their homes, those who have lost their homes, and those who are homeless are being housed in rented homes in safe neighborhoods within the Joshimath municipality tehsil of the Chamoli district.

The Chief Minister, CM Dhami, stated that scientists were investigating the reason for the land subsidence in Joshimath, the state and that moving people to safer regions remained the top priority.
