Speedster Josh Hazlewood of Australia praised Virat Kohli’s work ethics. Both players have been part of the RCB for the past two editions of the IPL, and both have a good time on and off the field.
The 32-year-old bowler witnessed Kohli’s hard work closely during their training session. He said that Kohli was the first person to turn up for training and the last to leave. His hard work is the model for the other players to emulate.
Injury forced Hazlewood to leave the IPL 2023 early, he has been facing a match fitness issue for the last few months. However, he is sure to take part in the WTC final because Cricket Australia has declared him fit.
The Australia, India duo are gearing up for the World Test Championship Final to be played at The Oval from June 7.
Kohli is one of the key players for the team in the upcoming WTC final, as India lost to New Zealand in the first edition in 2021.
The RCB batter was in tremendous form in the IPL 2023; he scored 639 runs in 14 matches with an average of 53.25 and a strike rate above 139. He made two tons and six fifties as well.
