US President Joe Biden tumbled on stage during the graduation ceremony of the US Air Force Academy. He got help, got up unhurt, and later joked about the incident.
The 80-year-old US President addressed graduates of the military academy, then shook hands with one of the cadets, after that started to go back to his seat, but he fell to the ground. Air Force personnel rushed to help him, but he was okay and got up without any difficulty.
After getting up, Biden pointed out that his foot was stuck with an object. He was fine and walked back to his seat. Several sandbags were set up in front of the podium where Biden had been standing, as revealed in the video.
The video of this incident went viral on social media. He was cheerful and went to his seat without any assistance.
After the conclusion of the ceremony, he reached his vehicle normally, and after the tripping episode, the White House issued a statement and revealed that the president was fine after the fall, as per CNN.
Biden, 80, is the oldest president of the US and is looking forward to contesting the next presidential election to be held in 2024. His official doctors declared that he is physically fit and exercises on a regular basis.
