The Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), which is part of the coalition government in Haryana, has now set its sights on the Rajasthan assembly elections. JJP National President Dr. Ajay Chautala and Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala made many big promises to the public during the ‘Kisan Vijay Samman Diwas’ rally organized on Monday on the 110th birth anniversary of former Deputy Prime Minister Late Tau Devi Lal in Sikar, the birthplace of former Deputy Prime Minister Late Tau Devi Lal. While pushing for political and systemic change in Rajasthan, they touted themselves as a better alternative to the JJP.
JJP National President Dr. Ajay Chautala stated that if the Jannayak Janata Party holds a stake in the government in the Assembly, they will establish a separate department to facilitate employment opportunities for the youth of Rajasthan abroad.
They also proposed the construction of four major officer training centres, similar to universities, to prepare young individuals for military officer positions. Additionally, they pledged to provide 75 percent reservation in private sector jobs for local youth, establish digital libraries in every village, offer financial assistance of 15 thousand rupees to farmers in case of crop failure, and implement measures akin to Haryana, including historic steps for the welfare of all segments of society. These measures include compensation per acre, substantial rewards for athletes, and a 33 percent share in ration depots for women.
Dr. Ajay Chautala, who has served as an MLA in Rajasthan twice, emphasized that JJP aims to bring about development in Rajasthan following the Haryana model. To achieve this goal, he urged the people of the state to elect JJP candidates and send them to the Rajasthan Assembly. He encouraged cooperation to unlock the potential for change in the interest of farmers and the impoverished class, using the keys represented by JJP.
Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala noted that JJP has established a solid foundation for change in Rajasthan. In pursuit of the slogan “where there is a temple, there is a library,” JJP has already created digital libraries in locations such as Kharnal and Nokha in Rajasthan. The significant turnout at the Sikar rally underscores the strong connection between Chaudhary Devi Lal and Dr. Ajay Singh with Rajasthan.
He mentioned that JJP is gearing up to contest elections on 25 to 30 seats in the region. The party aspires to see a leader from the farmer and working-class community become the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. After unlocking the potential for change in the Rajasthan Assembly, the party intends to move its efforts towards Delhi. He criticized the Gehlot government, accusing it of plundering Rajasthan. He alleged that thousands of crores of rupees are being squandered on advertising, and the state is being dominated by mining mafias, criminals, and paper leak gangs.
