A clothing code has been established for visitors to the Jharkhand Mahadev Temple in the Jaipur area, requesting them to abstain from wearing miniskirts, ripped jeans, shorts, dresses, and night costumes.

Devotees must only dress modestly and formally, according to a notification issued by the temple administration. Half-pants, Bermuda shorts, miniskirts, nightgowns, torn jeans, and frocks will not be permitted, according to the notice.

The letter also stated that Indian customs and culture should be upheld by the devotees. “It is a good decision. It will promote our Sanatan culture. It should be implemented in other temples as well,” said a devotee.
