Actress Jaya Bachchan has a notorious love-hate relationship with the paparazzi when she attends public events. Jaya has had her moments, including reprimanding the cameramen and making comments about them. She attracted everyone’s attention once more as she entered the celebrations for Hema Malini’s 75th birthday that were taking place in Mumbai on Tuesday. Jaya entered the room while Padmini Kohlapure, another actor, held the senior actor’s hand. Jaya motioned for the excited paparazzi to be quiet as they yelled her name.
Jaya said to the cameramen, “Ye Padmini mujhe yahan lekar aayi hai… (Padmini has brought me here)” as she walked on the platform set up for photographs. Later, when the photographers instructed her to look in their direction, she grinned and remarked, “Don’t give me so many directions.” The paparazzi were delighted by Jaya’s smile and upbeat attitude.
