In a significant joint operation, Handwara Police, in collaboration with Army and CRPF teams, successfully dismantled a terrorist module linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and The Resistance Front (TRF). The operation, conducted in Tutigund forest, resulted in the arrest of two terror associates, Pervaiz Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Rustam Dar, and Showkat Ahmad Shergujri, son of Ghulam Mohammad Shergujri, both residents of Tutigund Handwara. Upon the disclosure of the arrested terror associates, a cache of arms was recovered from Tutigund forest. The seized weapons and the arrested individuals are believed to be part of a larger network associated with LeT/TRF.
