Jalandhar Police Achieves Major Success, Arrests 8 Gangsters. According to reports, the Police Commissionerate has apprehended 8 gangsters affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, seizing weapons from them. It is reported that these gangsters were planning a major incident in Punjab. From the arrested criminals, 3 pistols, 10 cartridges, and vehicles have been recovered. These gangsters were involved in extortion, threats, forcible collections, and other criminal activities. The police will interrogate the arrested criminals, expecting significant revelations.

The Police Commissioner stated that based on investigation, 8 gangsters have been arrested, identified as Sanjay Bawa, son of Hari Mittal residing in HN-338 Mohalla Karar Khan, Jalandhar; Deepak Kumar alias Deepak, son of Mahendra Pal residing in H No. 41 Ratan Nagar Gulab Devi Road, Jalandhar; Gajinder Rajpur alias Gajju, son of Sham Bihari residing in New Shaheed Babu Labh Singh Nagar, Jalandhar; Radhe, son of Som Pal residing in H No. 556 New Shaheed Babu Labh Singh Nagar, Jalandhar; Abhishek Gill, son of Raj Kumar residing near Sodhi Pradhan, Jalandhar; Pappu, son of Som Pal residing in 569 Shaheed Babu Labh Singh Nagar, Jalandhar; Manoj, son of Jagdish residing in 569 Shaheed Babu Labh Singh Nagar, Jalandhar; and Deepak Kumar alias Deepak, son of Phool Chand residing in 481/6 Shaheed Babu Labh Singh Nagar, Jalandhar.

These gangsters were apprehended from near TV Tower Jalandhar, and seized from them were one pistol .30 bore with 05 cartridges, one pistol .32 bore with 05 cartridges, one country-made revolver .315 bore, 4 magazines, one Splendor motorcycle, and 2 scooters (Activa). Police Commissioner Swapn Sharma stated that during the investigation, it was revealed that the activities of these gangsters extended beyond national borders, with connections to Suraj currently residing in England.

Providing information about the activities of this gang, it was revealed that the gang operated to extract money from people through calls and letters. The police informed that investigation into the international numbers used for calls is already underway. No criminal background has been found for all 8 gangsters so far, but detailed investigation is ongoing.
