Modi-Macron dialogue in Jaipur to forge strong ties

The administrative preparations to welcome French President Emmanuel Macron in Jaipur are in full swing. Meanwhile, after the programs related to the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol on Monday, the BJP will also make extensive preparations. The main guest for the Republic Day celebrations, Macron, will arrive in Jaipur a day earlier on January 25. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be there to welcome him. During this visit, there will be a bilateral dialogue between Modi and Macron in Jaipur.
It is worth mentioning that the relations between India and France have been quite good. It can be estimated from the fact that in the last six months, there have been five meetings between Modi and Macron. Now, on January 25, the sixth meeting will take place.
France is India’s first strategic partner. The continuous meetings between the two countries have ensured progress in all dimensions of bilateral relations.
Discussion on space, defense, business etc
The upcoming meeting between Modi and Macron may involve significant discussions on issues such as science and technology, space, defence, education, and business. The bilateral dialogues between the two countries have already resulted in business worth more than 30 billion dollars.
The most significant imports are in weapons and petroleum products. France is the major supplier of arms to India, while India supplies various petroleum products to France. A broad discussion in the defence sector between the two countries is expected.
Along with the French

President, a delegation will also visit India. This delegation includes French Foreign Minister Stephen Seznec, Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu, Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire, Chief of Defense Staff General Thierry Burkhard, and several advisors. All of them will be part of the bilateral talks.

A roadshow will also be conducted
Meanwhile, in Jaipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a roadshow with French President Macron from City Palace to Sanganeri Gate. In this roadshow, they will witness the prosperous heritage of Jaipur’s forts. A large number of common people will also be present during this roadshow to catch a glimpse of both guests. In this roadshow, Macron will be acquainted with the heritage of Rajasthan through a royal procession, including camels, horses, elephants, chariots, etc. After this roadshow, the program for a night banquet is scheduled at Hotel Rambagh, where the meeting is also planned.
