In the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party is once again aiming to win all the seats in Rajasthan. In this regard, discussions on the selection of candidates within the BJP have already begun. Reports are being prepared at the local level under the guidance of the central leadership. Although the face of the Lok Sabha elections will be Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the party is making efforts to field a strong candidate. This time, nearly half of the Lok Sabha seats may see new candidates from the party. The announcement of the tickets is likely to be made in March so that candidates have sufficient time for campaigning.

Meanwhile, according to sources, MPs who lost in the Assembly elections will not be given tickets for the Lok Sabha elections. The reason for this is that there may be dissatisfaction among grassroots workers about why a candidate who lost in the Assembly elections is being given a ticket again. Also, the position of those candidates in the constituencies is being considered weak.

Four Lok Sabha seats have become vacant
It is worth noting that in the Assembly elections, four MPs have won. Among them, three Lok Sabha MPs are from the BJP. While Diya Kumari’s Rajasamand Lok Sabha seat, Mahant Balaknath’s Alwar Lok Sabha seat, and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore’s Jaipur Rural seat have become vacant.

All three have won in the Assembly elections. Meanwhile, in the previous Lok Sabha elections, Hanuman Beniwal, in alliance with the BJP, fought and won from Khinvsar and has already resigned from parliamentary membership. Although the BJP-Rashtriya Loktantrik Party alliance broke nearly two years ago. In this case, all four Lok Sabha seats are vacant for the BJP.

Three MPs had to face defeat
On the other hand, according to sources, MPs Narendra Budania from Jhunjhunu, Bhagirath Choudhary from Ajmer, and Devji Patel from Jalore, who were MPs from Mandawa, Kishangarh, and Jalore in the previous Lok Sabha, respectively, contested Assembly elections from the constituencies falling under the same Lok Sabha. However, they could not win.

New faces could also be fielded in these seats
It is being speculated that this Lok Sabha election could be a setback for Vasundhara Raje’s supporters. Among them, the names of Jaipur City MP Ramcharan Bohra, and Pali MP PP Choudhary are also included. Along with this, the tickets of Bharatpur MP Ranjeeta Koli, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur MP Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria, and Churu MP Rahul Kaswan could also be cut.

Rathore and Poonia could contest elections
On the other hand, former opposition leader Rajendra Rathore and former deputy opposition leader Satish Poonia have lost the Assembly elections. In this case, the party is considering both of them for contesting elections. Rajendra Rathore could be contested from Churu and Satish Poonia from Jaipur Rural. Currently, both are actively visible at the organizational level, considering the upcoming elections.
