Security officers searched Dera ki Gali, a forest area in the Rajouri district, early on Friday morning after two Army vehicles were ambushed by terrorists with heavy weapons. In Thursday evening’s terror attack, three Army personnel were injured and four were killed. In Thanamandi, Rajouri, two Army vehicles carrying troops were ambushed by the terrorists.

“The terrorist opened fire on two Army vehicles carrying troops as they were being moved to the operational site on December 21 at approximately 3:45 p.m. Our troops responded to the fire right away,” an Army official stated. Terrorists attacked Indian Army troops, and they responded instantly, they said. “A coordinated operation against terrorists that has been going on in the area since last evening was going to be strengthened by the troops. The 48 Rashtriya Rifles area is where the operations are occurring,” Army officials continued.
