The Indian Space Research Organisation’s scientists successfully launched the NVS – 01 next-generation navigation satellite from the second launch pad at the Sathish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, on Monday.
With this mission, the space agency hopes to improve the continuity of Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) services. ISRO has established a regional navigation satellite system called Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) to meet the nation’s positioning, navigation, and timing requirements.
