The Israeli Defence Forces stated on Monday morning that three Hamas commanders were killed during a nighttime battle in Gaza. According to the IDF, the soldiers encountered a terrorist team as they entered weapons storage. The military ordered an airstrike, which killed the terrorists while destroying the structure and its weaponry. The IDF showed CCTV footage of at least three captives being carried into Shifa Hospital, where Hamas has installed terror infrastructure, on Thursday evening.

Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, IDF Spokesperson, said intelligence indicated that Hamas militants “quickly” assassinated Cpl. Noa Marciano at Shifa after she was transported there with non-life-threatening injuries received during her captivity.

The IDF stated on Friday that it had retrieved her corpse from a building in Shifa. The military had stated the day before that soldiers had discovered and recovered the body of Yehudit Weiss, 65, from a neighbouring structure.

According to Hagari, in addition to Marciano, two captives from Nepal and Thailand were concealed in Shifa Hospital in the immediate aftermath of the Oct. 7 slaughter.
“The proof I shall present was delivered to the nations of these people by Israel through diplomatic channels… Inside Shifa Hospital, Hamas was concealing and killing hostages. Hamas was digging tunnels beneath hospitals.”The world must remember: Hamas is holding hostage the elderly, men, women, children, and babies. The Israel Defence Forces have a moral obligation to bring everyone home. We will not rest until we do,” added Hagari.

On Oct. 7, Hamas launched strikes on Israeli villages along the Gaza border, killing at least 1,200 people. Another 240 men, women, children, and soldiers were abducted as captives and returned to Gaza. Some victims are still missing, as Israeli police try to identify bodies and look for human remains.
