Paul Calderon, a renowned Hollywood actor, has joined the cast of the Ironheart episode of the Marvel Studios Disney Plus series.

In the six-episode series created by Chinaka Hodge, Dominique Thorne will portray the Marvel character Riri Williams, a genius inventor who created the most advanced suit of armour since Iron Man. The other cast members already announced were Anthony Ramos, Shakira Barrera, Manny Montana, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Rashida ‘Sheedz’ Olayiwola, Shea Coulee, and Zoe Terakes. One of the production firms for the film is Ryan Coogler’s Proximity, while Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes are the directors. Ironheart’s executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, and Zoie Nagelhout from Marvel Studios, as well as Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, and Sev Ohanian.

Deadline claims that writer, actor, and director Calderon’s most recent appearance was in “Miguel,” one of the final episodes of NBC’s This Is Us, which concentrated on the role of Miguel Rivas (Jon Huertas).

In addition, Calderon portrayed Detective Jimmy Robertson on Amazon’s Bosch for a number of seasons. Miami Vice, Boardwalk Empire on HBO, Hostages on CBS, Law & Order on NBC, and Fear of the Walking Dead on AMC are a few other notable TV appearances.

He wrote the screenplay for the Harvey Keitel and Abel Ferrera movie Bad Lieutenant. Calderon played a police officer in the 1992 film as well.

Other significant films include 21 Grams by Alejandro G. Iarritu; Cop Land by James Mangold; Out of Sight by Steven Soderbergh; The Firm by Sydney Pollack, and Pulp Fiction by Quentin Tarantino.
