IPL 2024: As Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) gear up for their pivotal clash on Saturday, May 18, a fan’s “hilarious plan” to breach security protocols at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium has garnered attention. Despite RCB’s five-game winning streak and CSK’s recent fluctuations in form, this encounter has already been dubbed a potential knockout.
In a viral video, a fan detailed his attempt to infiltrate the playing field during an RCB game, strategizing his entry amidst barricades and spikes. Although the video sparked concern, it also prompted social media users to alert Bengaluru police about the possible security breach.

While KKR and RR have secured playoff berths, MI, GT, and PBKS have bowed out after disappointing campaigns. DC clinched 14 points from their league matches, leaving the rest with one game each and potential reliance on net run-rates to determine the final playoff entrant.
According to IPL 2024’s official broadcasters Star Sports, Sunrisers Hyderabad have the highest chance of qualification at 87.3%, followed by Chennai Super Kings at 72.7% and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at 39.3%. DC and LSG have minimal chances at 0.7% and 0.2%, respectively.
