Sanju Samson, the captain of Rajasthan Royals, won the toss and chose to bowl first against Gujarat Titans in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match at Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.
While the Rajasthan Royals defeated the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their previous match, Gujarat defeated the Punjab Kings in a thriller.
At the time of the coin toss, Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson stated, “We want to go bowling. Jason Holder will be replaced by Boult. I’m not sure if Padikkal is playing if he gets to bat. We’ll continue to learn about it (impact sub). Today I’d like to get some runs.”
