Sehaj Arora and Gurpreet Kaur, known as the ‘Kulhad Pizza couple’ from Jalandhar, Punjab, have addressed the controversy surrounding a leaked video that allegedly depicted them in a compromising situation. Appearing on the “Talks with Namit” podcast, the couple denied that the video was a publicity stunt, with Kaur emotionally stating:

“People say we did this for fame. We had fame earlier as well.”

The couple claimed the video was manipulated using artificial intelligence (AI) and that it was not a real representation of them. They reported a severe impact on their business, with sales at their restaurant dropping to just 10% of previous levels. Kaur expressed frustration over the situation, questioning:

“Which person will do this to themselves?”

The couple had initially gained attention for their unique pizza offerings served in earthen cups, but their fortunes took a downturn following the video’s release.

In addition to the video controversy, the couple reported that their newly purchased car had been vandalized. Sehaj Arora shared a video on Instagram showing the car’s shattered windows and a brick lying nearby. The post was captioned in Punjabi:

“Last night around 1 o’clock, my car was broken into pieces. Beer bottles are outside a hard shop and flags are standing outside the shop. What is this #System? I don’t understand. Are we safe here? CM sir, Jalandhar has been in the same condition for 7 days, and still, the system remains unchanged.”

Arora accused people of being ‘jealous’ of his ‘hard work’ and criticized the lack of action from local authorities.
