Inspector’s son Juzhar Singh wins a silver medal in the hockey championship Juzhar Singh, the son of Inspector Harminder Singh of Sarangpur Police Station Chandigarh. The son of a police inspector in Chandigarh, Juzhar Singh, has brought honour to his family and school by winning a silver medal in the Asian Roller Hockey Championship. Juzhar Singh has received congratulations from the school staff, the police department, and the residents of his ancestral village. After the implementation of the Sports Policy, Juzhar Singh brought the silver medal to the Chandigarh administration. Juzhar Singh has won a silver medal in the 19th Asian Roller Hockey Championship 2023 held in China from October 18 to October 27, 2023. Juzhar Singh is studying in the first class of KBDAV Secondary School, Sector 7C. He is 17 years old and plays in the Under-19 group. In the Asian Roller Hockey Championship 2023, Juzhar Singh represented the Junior Roller Hockey Team as its captain. Juzhar Singh began roller skating at the age of just ten in 2019. Juzhar’s father, Inspector Harminder Singh, is posted as the SHO of Sarangpur Police Station in Chandigarh. Harminder Jeet Singh, originally from the village of Tamnoli in Ambala district, now resides in Chandigarh with his family. Harminder Jeet Singh said that Juzhar Singh has had a passion for sports along with his studies right from the beginning. In 2019, Juzhar won his first silver medal in the National Roller Hockey Championship held in Visakhapatnam. He also won a silver medal in the National Roller Hockey Championship held in CD in 2020. In 2021, he won a gold medal in the National Championship and in 2022, he won a bronze medal. Juzhar Singh has won five gold medals in the state-level roller hockey championship in India. He won a gold, a bronze, and a silver medal in the Roller Hockey Federation Cup held in Jodhpur.
