Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani recently hosted a mass wedding at the Reliance Corporate Park (RCP) in Navi Mumbai, marking the commencement of their son Anant Ambani’s wedding celebrations with Radhika Merchant. The event featured a mass wedding for over 50 underprivileged couples from Palghar, about 100 km from Mumbai, attended by nearly 800 guests.
The Ambani family, including Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, their son Akash Ambani with wife Shloka Mehta, and daughter Isha Ambani with husband Anand Piramal, graced the occasion. Pictures from the event captured Nita Ambani in a stunning red saree, warmly embracing one of the brides. The family also posed together, reflecting the festive spirit of the gathering.
As part of their philanthropic gesture, the Ambanis adorned each couple with gold ornaments such as nose rings, wedding rings, and Mangalsutras. The brides received silver toe rings, anklets, and a cheque of Rs. 1.01 lakh as their “streedhan”. Additionally, the couples were gifted essential grocery items and household appliances including mixers, fans, mattresses, pillows, and gas stoves, sufficient for a year.
Following the ceremony, a lavish dinner was hosted for all attendees, complemented by a mesmerizing Tarpa Dance performance by the Warli Tribe, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Western India.
Anant Ambani, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani‘s youngest son, is scheduled to marry Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant and businesswoman Shaila Merchant, on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The upcoming wedding is anticipated to be an opulent affair, promising elaborate ceremonies and the presence of numerous high-profile guests.
