The deaths of a mother-daughter team following a fire that broke out during an anti-encroachment drive have become the subject of a magistrate’s probe.
Keshav Prasad Maurya, the deputy chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, promised that the accused would be taken into custody and that the offenders would not be spared. The mother and daughter who died in the fire that broke up during the demolition effort were today cremated.
