The play “Jasma Odan” is being performed today by the Indian Rangmanch Department, Punjab University, Chandigarh, at the Social Network Auditorium. The production, written by Shanta Gandhi and designed and directed by Dr. Navdeep Kaur, the Chairperson of the Indian Rangmanch Department at PU Chandigarh, is being showcased on February 7, 2024. This event is part of the 23rd Bharat Rang Mahotsav, an international theatre festival organized annually by the National School of Drama, New Delhi. Bharat Rang Mahotsav is a prestigious international theatre festival that showcases the creative works of India’s most talented theatre practitioners and encourages the development of the theatre globally by hosting theatre companies from around the world. As Asia’s largest theatre festival, Bharat Rang Mahotsav will feature numerous national and international performances and various related events, promising a spectacular showcase for our students. It is an honour for the department to participate in this esteemed international theatre festival.
