On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in Ganesh Puja at the residence of Chief Justice of India, Justice DY Chandrachud. During the ceremony, the Prime Minister prayed to Lord Ganesh for blessings of happiness, prosperity, and excellent health.
Chief Justice Chandrachud and his wife, Kalpana Das, warmly welcomed the Prime Minister to their home. Modi shared his experience on X, saying, “Joined Ganesh Puja at the residence of CJI, Justice DY Chandrachud Ji. May Bhagwan Shri Ganesh bless us all with happiness, prosperity, and wonderful health.”

Ganesh Chaturthi, a 10-day festival celebrating Lord Ganesha, continues until Anantha Chaturdashi. Also known as Vinayak Chaturthi or Vinayak Chavithi, this festival honors Ganesha as the deity of new beginnings and the remover of obstacles. Celebrations include elaborate decorations in homes and public pandals, vibrant processions, traditional rituals, and a festive atmosphere filled with prayers, music, and chants. Devotees both in India and abroad celebrate Lord Ganesha’s wisdom and intelligence with great enthusiasm.
