UP Hathras Stampede: Dimple Yadav Demands ‘Strict Action’, Blames Administration

In the wake of the tragic stampede at a religious gathering in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, which resulted in the deaths of over 80 people and left many others injured, Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav has called for stringent action and immediate aid for the victims. The incident occurred during a satsang conducted by the self-styled godman Narayan Sakaar Hari, also known as Bhole Baba.

Expressing her concerns, Dimple Yadav stated, “The Uttar Pradesh government must take the strictest action in response to this tragedy. Immediate help should be provided to those injured. There needs to be a thorough investigation into the cause of the stampede and why this accident happened. The responsibility for this incident lies entirely with the administration.”

Yadav further emphasized the importance of preparedness, noting, “It was the responsibility of both the government and the administration to ensure safety measures were in place. An ambulance should have been present at the site.”

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has already directed officials to promptly reach the location and oversee relief efforts. As the state grapples with the aftermath of the Hathras Stampede, calls for accountability and improved safety protocols at large gatherings are growing louder.
