At a grand celebration held to commemorate Parshuram Jayanti, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini called upon the youth to embrace the teachings, philosophy and ideology of Lord Parshuram, emphasising that these timeless values are essential for shaping a Viksit Bharat and a progressive Haryana.
The event, which witnessed the enthusiastic participation of thousands from all 36 communities, was marked by inspiring speeches from Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma, former Union Minister Vinod Sharma, Haryana Cabinet Minister Arvind Sharma, and Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma.

The leaders highlighted Lord Parshuram’s enduring ideals, courage, wisdom, and selfless service as guiding principles for India’s journey toward inclusive development and social harmony.
CM Saini called upon the youth to awaken the spirit of Lord Parshuram within themselves to contribute to a strong and spiritually rich India. “Parshuram Ji was the flag-bearer of the battle against adharma. His ideals of truth, integrity, and righteousness must inspire our journey toward a developed nation,” Saini said.
He drew parallels between Parshuram’s fight against injustice and modern initiatives like Digital India, Startup India, and Make inIndia, urging citizens to pledge to make India a “Vishwaguru” again. Saini announced significant measures, including naming a new medical college in Kaithal after Lord Parshuram and declaringParshuram Jayanti a gazetted holiday in Haryana.

He also confirmed the allocation of land to Gaur Brahmin College in Paharawar village and contribution of Rs 31 lakh for the event. Highlighting his government’s commitment to inclusive development, Saini said, “We are moving forward with the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,’ following the path shown by Lord Parshuram.” Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak praisedSaini’s leadership, stating, “CM Nayab Saini will leave no stone unturned in upholding the honor of Haryana’s people.”
Pathak prayed for Lord Parshuram’s Blessings for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to defeat forces working against national interests. He lauded India’s strength under Modi’s leadership, saying, “Just as Parshuram eradicated injustice with knowledge and weaponry, our PrimeMinister is capable of teaching enemy nations a stern lesson today.”
Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma, a key organizer of the event, announced the transformative ‘Parshuram Gyan Ganga Centre’ initiative, aimed at revolutionising education for underprivileged youth across the state. He said that under this programme, high-quality libraries and coaching centres will be established in community halls across Haryana’s 22 districts, offering free coaching for competitive exams like UPSC,HCS, NEET, and JEE.
“Retired officers and subject experts will guide students to ensure no talented youth is deprived of opportunities,” Sharma said expressing confidence that each center would produce at least IAS, IPS, and other top officers.
He also demanded the establishment of hostels named after Lord Parshuram to support community students and urged youth to maintain cleanliness around Parshuram statues through weekly drives.

He urged the chief minister to set up Bhagwan Parshuram student Hostels in every distrcits and creation of Brahman Ayog in the state. The Rajya Sabha MP said efforts should also be made to increase the number of MD and MS seats at the Gaur Brahmin Ayurvedic College. He further suggested that either a law college or a medical college should be established on the land in Peharawar.
The age limit for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates should be increased so that all 36 communities can benefit from this provision, the MP. Kartikeya Sharma said, “It’s true that India is the land of Lord Buddha, a land of peace—not war. But let us not forget that India is also the land of Lord Parshuram. And when Lord Parshuram wields his axe, then no matter where in the world India’s enemies may be hiding, they should know this — that our country is led by a Prime Minister who says, ‘We will neither speak with lowered eyes, nor with raised ones — we will speak while looking straight into their eyes.’

“Former minister Venod Sharma announced to donate Rs 1 crore to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund in memory of the martyrs of the Pahalgam attack. “Every citizen must contribute wholeheartedly when the nation faces a crisis,” he said, warning neighbouring countries that under PM Modi’s Leadership, India would respond decisively to provocations. His act of generosity became a centrepiece of the event, symbolising patriotism and public service. The leaders collectively emphasized the importance of education and cultural strength in achieving PM Modi’s vision of developed India by 2047.
Saini assured that all demands raised by Kartikeya Sharma, including those related to EBP category candidates and land ownership rights for Doli land, would be addressed promptly. The event also saw the presence of prominent figures like Kalka MLA Shakti Rani Sharma, former Tripura CM Biplab Deb, and Olympian Yogeshwar Dutt.
