A massive fire erupted early Friday morning after a truck collision near Jaipur. At least one person is confirmed dead, and several others are feared dead. The incident took place at around 5:30 AM when a CNG tanker, parked at a petrol pump, exploded after colliding with other trucks. Emergency services and fire personnel rushed to the site to control the blaze and rescue those trapped.

Truck Collision Triggers Deadly Fire

Reports early indicate that the truck which crashed may have been carrying chemicals, which could have flared the fire. The flames spread very fast and covered most of the trucks that were stationed there. The emergency teams are working tirelessly to douse the fire and make the place safe, while medical teams rush the injured to hospitals within for treatment. As per Station House Officer (SHO), Bhankrota, Manish Gupta, burn victim patients are being shifted in ambulance as fire and rescue teams go on with their efforts.

Rajasthan CM Visits Hospital

Rajasthan’s Chief Minister, Bhajan Lal Sharma, visited the hospital to meet the victims and assure them of all support after the calamitous accident. The authorities are still getting a count of the injuries, and the death count is feared to increase as more corpses are found.

The number of trucks used in the incident is still unclear, but the whole place is chaotic, and it is where emergency services are sorting out the situation.
