Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi will be announcing the guarantees for Mahatrashtra in presence of NCP- SP faction chief Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena (UBT) faction Uddhav Thackeray on November 6.

Congress Maharashtra incharge Ramesh Chenithalla on Friday said that Rahul Gandhi will be visiting Nagpur on November 6.

He will first address the Samvidhaan Samman Sammelan in Nagpur.

Chenithalla said, “On November 6, Rahul Gandhi, Kharge, Uddhav Thackeray and sharad Pawar will be holding a joint rally on Mumbai BKC area.”

He said that Maha Vikas Aghadi will be announcing the guarantees for Maharashtra on the same day.

According to party leaders, this will be a common minimum programme and the guarantees have been made after the three parties held a detailed discussion.

This comes in the wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP leaders targeting the Congress for not fulfilling the guarantees in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh where it has been in power and accused the grand old party of announcing guarantees only to come to power.

Meanwhile, Kharge responded to the charge of the Prime Minister and gave a point t by point rebuttal saying that the Modi’s guarantees are the cruel joke to 140 crore people of the country.

Speaking to ITV network, Chenithalla also slammed the Prime Minister for not fulfilling promise of providing 2 crore per year and transferring Rs 15 lakh into bank accounts of every citizen.
