Indore Gets Major Boost: CM Yadav Inaugurates 4 Mega Flyovers To End Traffic Woes

In a landmark move to tackle Indore’s notorious traffic issues, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated four new flyovers on Monday, constructed at a whopping cost of Rs 222.25 crore. These flyovers, built at crucial intersections in Phuti Kothi, Bhanwarkuan, Khajrana, and the Luv-Kush junction, are expected to benefit around 7.5 lakh vehicles daily.

A Promise to End Traffic Jams

Addressing the crowd, CM Yadav vowed that this is just the beginning. He pledged to take further steps to ensure that no intersection in Indore remains jammed, even if it requires building 35 more flyovers. This simultaneous inauguration is a historic event, marking a major leap in the city’s road infrastructure.

New Sewerage Project in the Pipeline

Yadav also announced a new Rs 400 crore sewerage project, aimed at addressing the perennial issue of waterlogging during rains, which has long plagued the city.

Drug Trade Remarks Spark Controversy

In a surprising turn, Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya raised concerns about the rising drug trade in Indore, specifically implicating figures from Rajasthan’s Pratapgarh. CM Yadav responded firmly, assuring that his government is committed to cracking down on the drug menace, granting full authority to the police to take stringent action.

With these developments, CM Yadav aims to transform Indore into a more connected and cleaner city, setting the stage for a smoother, safer daily commute for its residents.
