An IndiGo flight, 6E 7308, en route from Jabalpur to Hyderabad was diverted to Nagpur following a bomb threat on board. The flight landed safely in Nagpur, where all passengers were promptly disembarked. Security checks were immediately initiated to ensure passenger safety and confirm the nature of the threat.
The incident occurred shortly after a similar bomb threat prompted a full emergency at Thiruvananthapuram airport on August 22. An Air India flight arriving from Mumbai was also diverted to an isolation bay upon landing, and all passengers were safely evacuated within 44 minutes.
Authorities are conducting thorough investigations into both incidents to ensure passenger safety and prevent future threats.
