A blast occurred early Tuesday morning at a bar owned by rapper Badshah in Chandigarh’s Sector 26, causing damage to window panes but no injuries. The explosion, which took place between 2:30 and 2:45 a.m., was caused by two individuals on a motorcycle who threw a low-intensity explosive device at the private club.
Chandigarh Police responded promptly, launching an investigation to identify the suspects. Teams from the bomb detection squad and the Central Forensic Science Laboratory also arrived at the scene to gather evidence.
Sources suggest the blast may have involved a homemade device, potentially linked to extortion. Authorities are working to confirm the details, and the investigation is ongoing.
