A chadar was presented on behalf of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at the 813th Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti. The spiritual event at the Dargah in Ajmer was marked by prayers for peace, brotherhood, and prosperity in the country.
Gadkari’s Message Of Peace And Harmony
The chadar on behalf of Gadkari was presented by Khadim Syed Afsan Chishti, who placed it at the tomb of Khwaja Garib Nawaz. In his message, Gadkari expressed congratulated the followers of Khwaja Garib Nawaz worldwide and highlighted the significance of Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb and social harmony, which the saint’s teachings have always championed. Gadkari emphasised the saint’s contribution to India’s spiritual traditions and called for the continued service to humanity, as exemplified by the Sufi saint.
On the same day, a velvet chadar and flowers were offered at the Dargah on behalf of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. The Waqf Board Chairman, Khanu Khan Budhwali, along with several Congress leaders, carried the chadar and offered prayers for the peace and prosperity of the country and state. In his message, Gehlot praised Khwaja Garib Nawaz for his spiritual contributions and commitment to serving the oppressed, the weak, and fostering brotherhood. He stressed that during these times of divisive forces, the message of national unity preached by Khwaja Garib Nawaz holds immense importance.
Budhwali Reads Gehlot’s Message At Buland Darwaza
Budhwali read Gehlot’s message at the Buland Darwaza, where he extended his tribute to the saint and prayed for the success of the Urs. The ceremony was attended by a large gathering, including Congress leaders and local officials, all coming together to honour the spiritual legacy of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.
The occasion of the Urs brought together pilgrims from across communities and nations, all seeking blessings and spreading the message of peace and unity taught by Khwaja Garib Nawaz.
