In Dhanadih village of Saran district, Bihar, a tragic incident unfolded as a man and his two daughters were fatally stabbed, allegedly by the disturbed lover of one of the girls, according to police reports on Wednesday. The man’s wife sustained injuries and was hospitalized.
Saran Police reported that Sudhanshu Kumar alias Roshan and Ankit Kumar from Rasulpur committed the heinous act, using a sharp weapon to murder Tarakeshwar Singh alias Jhabar Singh and his two minor daughters at their residence on Tuesday night.
“Last night, information was received through Dial 112 that three people have been murdered with a sharp weapon on the roof of the house of Tarakeshwar Singh, alias Jhabar Singh, in Dhanadih village under Rasulpur police station,” the police statement read.
Acting swiftly based on statements from Tarakeshwar Singh’s wife and gathered intelligence, the police apprehended the suspects within an hour of the crime. The motive behind the triple murder was reportedly linked to a romantic relationship between Sudhanshu Kumar and one of the deceased girls. The murder weapon was recovered at the scene.
The bodies have been sent to Chapra Sadar Hospital for postmortem examination, and the investigation into the tragic incident continues.
