In a tragic incident on October 12, politician Baba Siddique was shot dead, allegedly by members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Police are currently investigating, and reports suggest that Siddique’s murder is connected to his close ties with Bollywood stars, particularly Salman Khan, who has also been threatened by the same gang.

Following this incident, Salman Khan’s security has been significantly increased. Reports indicated that he has been advised not to receive visitors for the next few weeks. However, a close family friend clarified to ‘ETimes’ that Salman’s doors remain open to friends and colleagues in the film industry, though the family is now exercising greater caution. Despite the ongoing threat, Salman is committed to supporting Baba Siddique’s family during this difficult time.

Salim Khan, Salman’s father, has also been advised to be vigilant during his daily morning walks in Bandra. Meanwhile, additional security measures have been implemented at Salman’s Panvel farmhouse, although the actor currently spends most of his time in Mumbai, confirmed sources from Navi Mumbai police.

Baba Siddique, known for his political contributions, also shared a strong bond with Bollywood personalities. He and Salman Khan had been close friends for over two decades, with Salman regularly attending Siddique’s annual Iftar parties. Salman Khan was deeply affected by the loss of his friend, and although he couldn’t remain at the Siddique residence, he ensured to visit and offer support to the grieving family.

Amid the threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Salman, accompanied by tight security, arrived at the Siddique residence in his black car. A police vehicle followed closely as he made his way through the large crowd. Although he remained silent, those present saw Salman leave with tearful eyes, clearly expressing his grief.

A few hours before Salman’s visit, his family members, including Sohail Khan, Arpita Khan, and Alvira Khan, also arrived to pay their respects to the late NCP leader. Despite the heightened security concerns and threats made directly against him, Salman continued to stand by Siddique’s family, demonstrating their long-standing friendship.

According to an ‘India Today’ report, the threats have led to heightened security for Salman and his family. A close source confirmed that they have canceled all personal meetings, and even Salman’s friends are currently restricted from visiting him.
