An incident involving counterfeit currency dispensed from an ATM in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, has stirred the local community. The ATM, situated in front of a police station, drew attention after users reported receiving fake Rs 100 and Rs 200 notes.

The situation began when a customer withdrew Rs 300 from the ATM and quickly became suspicious upon examining the notes. After further inspection, he confirmed they were counterfeit. Shortly thereafter, another individual withdrew Rs 400 and faced the same issue, leading both to rush to the nearby police station for assistance.
