Parliament’s Budget Session likely to start on 31 January

The Budget Session of Parliament which is likely to be presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will begin on 31 January and will conclude on 6 April. With the address of President Droupadi Murmu, the session will start with the joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha in the Central Hall of Parliament. Ever since President Murmu became President Murmu will address the two Houses of Parliament for the first time. However, on the first day of the budget session, both houses’ Economic Surveys will also be tabled.
