As Mumbai gets ready to host the third crucial meet of 26 like- minded parties, named as I.N.D.I.A., today, there were poster wars from six parties of alliance to project their party leaders as Prime Ministerial candidate against Modi for the 2024 general elections.
AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar, while speaking to media in Delhi, said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is best suited for the PM post, while in Mumbai, host shiv Sena’s Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi floated the idea that Uddhav Thackeray is PM material. The Samajwadi Party is also not far behind and said that since Uttar Pradesh has the maximum number of Lok Sabha seats, its chief Akhilesh Yadav is the best person for the top post.
Congress too has said that since it is only party to challenge the BJP, Rahul Gandhi is the best candidate for the prime minister’s chair. JDU has also projected Nitish Kumar as PM face in the past.
TDG has also learnt from the sources that the issue of prime ministerial face will crop up in the I.N.D.I.A. alliance meet in Mumbai, along with convincing BSP supremo Mayawati to join the fledgling alliance.
