Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level meeting in the wake of targeted killings and the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
In the presence of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Army Chief Manoj Pandey, and Research and Analysis Wing Chief Samant Goel the meeting was held at around 3 PM in the national capital.

In the hybrid mode, the meeting was also attended by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Director Kuldeep Singh, Border Security Force (BSF) chief Pankaj Singh and National Investigation Agency (NIA) Director General Dinkar Gupta. Meanwhile, Dilbagh Singh, Jammu, and Kashmir’s Director General of Police were also present in the meeting.
Moreover, in the meeting, Shah was apprised of the condition of cross-border infiltration and the present scenario of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
However, in May and June similar meeting was held by Amit Shah in which he reviewed the security situation in the Union Territory.
