“Bridgerton Season 4” has officially kicked off with its first table reading, marking the start of production for the new season. The beloved period drama continues to captivate audiences with its stellar cast, which includes both returning favorites and new faces. Netflix shared behind-the-scenes photos from the table read, introducing Yerin Ha as the season’s new “diamond,” Sophie Baek.
Set in the Regency Era, the fourth season will center on Benedict Bridgerton (played by Luke Thompson) and his journey of self-discovery. Sophie will portray his love interest. A picture of the new on-screen couple was shared, showcasing their off-screen chemistry as well. Returning cast members include Ruth Gemmell (Lady Violet Bridgerton), Hannah Dodd (Francesca Bridgerton), and Florence Hunt (Hyacinth Bridgerton), with new additions like Katie Leung as Lady Araminta Gun and Isabella Wei as Posy Li.
The plot will follow Benedict as he becomes enchanted by a “Lady in Silver” at a grand masquerade ball hosted by his mother, continuing from the previous season’s storyline. The caption read, “Rejoice for it is the season of joy and merriment!”
