Recalling the old days, he reached Thakur Sweet Shop at Summerhill. Nadda touched feet of 86-year-old Nathu Ram and inquired about his well-being.

When JP Nadda was studying at Himachal Pradesh University, he often used to come to this tea shop to drink tea. JP Nadda also inquired about the health of Nathu Ram. Talking to him, he said that he has not forgotten the taste of tea and omelets in his shop. Nathu Ram remembers JP Nadda when he used to enjoy tea and eat omelets at this stall in the early 80s. Now Nathu Ram has two sons and the shop is now run by his relative Mast Ram Thakur. After this, Jagat Prakash Nadda went to Jagmohan’s shop in Summerhill. He has also known him since the time of the university. Jagmohan said that his younger son is getting married. For this, he also invited JP Nadda in the wedding.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda is on a two-day visit to Himachal Pradesh. JP Nadda, while addressing a public meeting in Nahan, praised the state government led by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. He said that he came to Himachal to indicate the future CM name but the people of Himachal knew it already. He further said that Jai Ram Thakur’s government has done a lot for the people of the state. Himachal Pradesh is one of the leading states in the country in terms of development due to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the government. This has been possible due to the double-engine government in the Centre and the state.

JP Nadda said, “I bow to this earth. Himachal was merged on 15 April 1948 and the state of Himachal Pradesh was formed. No village in Himachal is left without a road and roads will be expanded continuously. The people of Himachal are very hardworking. The journey of himachalis is not one or two days old but it took years from them to reach till here. He said, “I am very happy to include myself in the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. We all have celebrated Amrit Mahotsav, now we are busy preparing for Amrit Kaal. We have to be ready for the contribution that we have to make in the next 25 years. When I became the health minister, I got a chance to improve the medical system in Nahan as the health minister.”

Nadda shared his heart out in Shimla

Nadda while sharing his heart out said, “Due to Corona, the world economy had slowed down a lot and it had stopped in many places, but even at that time the pace of development in India remained and today India’s economy is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. We have to get out of the slavery mentality, we should be proud of our tradition, culture, and food. We should preserve our old heritage. We should be united, whatever happens, but our unity will not be shaken.”
