Anil Vij who holds the portfolio of health and Home Minister, has written to the Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the concerned department to take stern action against National Health Mission (NHM) Director and IAS Rajnarayan Kaushik, making a serious complaint against him. Considering the seriousness of the matter, there is ruckus in the corridors of the bureaucracy also. Divulging information pertaining to the matter Anil Vij said that he has given a complaint against the Mission Director mentioning him an incompetent officer. Putting the working style of the director in the dock, Vij has written for action against him.
Apart from aforementioned, Anil Vij said that in the complaint sent, he has described the NHM Director as an officer «not skilled to manage office». In such a situation, the seriousness of the matter can be easily gauged. An senior official is of the opinion that there could be some connection between the ongoing turmoil in the health department and this case. Since the matter has to be investigated, the related aspects will come to fore only after this. In continuation to aforesaid, it is worth noting that these days the state government is continuously taking strict action against the officers and employees with a casual approach. The new case is likely to create a stir in the bureaucracy once again. The concerned IAS official was tried to contact but could not be reached.
