The General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee, former Union Minister, member of the Congress Working Committee, and former President of the Haryana Congress, Kumari Selja, has said that everything is not going well in the state government. Due to internal discord in the government, health services are deteriorating day by day. Due to the indifference of the Health Minister’s department, this year the number of deaths due to dengue has broken a five-year-old record. Despite orders from the Center, the state’s health department has failed to prepare to deal with the Chinese flu.
In a statement released to the media, Kumari Selja said that there is an internal conflict within the BJP-JJP alliance government regarding dominance. That is why the alliance government here, led by JJP, fought separately against the BJP in Rajasthan. This coalition is solely for self-interest, opportunism, and looting the resources of the state, with no concern for development or public welfare. The former Central Minister said that within the BJP as well, there is a game of winning and losing among themselves. This revelation has been in the air between Vij, the Health Minister, and the Chief Minister for more than two and a half months. Now Vij is openly alleging that interference from the CM’s office is preventing him from seeing any work related to the court.
Kumari Selja said that all this is happening at the Chief Minister’s behest, otherwise, no officer at the level of the CM’s office could dare to interfere at the minister’s level in any department. They aim to trouble the minister, who is considered opposition by the Chief Minister so that he resigns on his own after losing. The former Central Minister said that Anil Vij should also think about his position. If he is not able to manage his department for more than two and a half months, then why is he just a dummy Health Minister on paper? He should resign in front of the CM, acknowledging his defeat.
Kumari Selja said that when Vij has no interest in the court for more than two and a half months, then the Chief Minister should take a decisive decision. The responsibility of this department should be taken away from Anil Vij and given to someone else so that people do not have to wander for medicines and other necessary treatments. Selja said that it is the moral responsibility of the government and the concerned department to provide better health facilities to the public, but the opposite is happening. The public is suffering physically and mentally due to the lack of medicines and proper treatment, and the government is busy misleading the public by issuing false figures. If there is no change in the government’s attitude, then surely the public mood has turned against the BJP government, and this will be directly evident during the elections.
