Following the formation of the new BJP-led government, the BJP has denied the four former ministers and legislators including Anil Vij, Kamlesh Dhanda, OP Yadav and Sandeep Singh the berth in the newly formed cabinet. BJP bigshot Anil Vij who had heavy portfolios like Home and Health, is still believed to be upset with the party leadership and the newly appointed Chief Minister Nayab Saini citing his negligence by the party as he was denied the post. Anil Vij’s resentment and displeasure with the CM and party is clearly visible even after the formation of the new cabinet. . Of course, Anil Vij is constantly saying that he is not disgruntled with anyone, but contrary to this, his displeasure and disappointment is pretty visible from his social media posts being posted by him after Nayab Singh Saini was sworn in as the new Chief Minister of the state. In this series, Anil Vijay once again tweeted on social media “X” on Thursday in which he wrote that “ Kuch Baat Aisi Hai Ki Hasti Miteti Nahi Hamari, Sadiyon Raha Hai Dushan, Daur-a-Jamana Hamara” ( Despite being our enemies for centuries, There is something unique in people like as we never fade away).
By not giving a berth to Anil Vij in new cabinet, the party leadership has given an ultimatum in a way to all the party MLAs to remain disciplined as well in active mode . Anil Vij’s disagreement with the name of CM Naib Saini and then his leaving the meeting was considered indiscipline by the party high command. Of course, Anil Vij kept saying that he was not upset but even after knowing about his displeasure, the party left him to his fate without making much effort to convince him

While reacting to a question pertaining to displeasure of former Home Minister Anil Vij, the Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has said that ‘’Anil Vij is not upset. He is respectable, and our senior most leader, we get guidance from him. Since he is one of our stalwarts and senior leaders, we used to seek and still seek his blessings. I will visit him and will have a cup of tea seeking his blessings. It is noteworthy that Naib Singh Saini and Anil Vishwa have not met since Narsingh Saini has been appointed the Chief Minister. When Nayab Singh Saini reached Ambala for the first time on Tuesday after becoming the Chief Minister, he was believed to visit Anil Vij. However, the Chief Minister’s convoy moved towards Karnal via Ambala Cantt and he did not meet Vij. Further, while reacting to this , if the Chief Minister had visited me, I would have served him tea. It is pertinent to mention that after the expansion of the new cabinet, divulging details, Anil Vij was of the opinion that he shared no information about the replacement of the Chief Minister as neither did anyone tell me, nor did anyone contact me. Naib Singh Saini is our younger brother, hopefully he will do great work’’

The opposition is also continuously criticizing the government on the whole matter, saying that there is widened rift and differences between Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Home Minister Anil Vij which are evident from the statements of the Vij as when such a senior leader of BJP like Vij is saying that he has no information about the changes in the state leadership, then it can be easily gauged that things are not in good shape in Haryana BJP. It is noteworthy that Haryana witnessed a historic political development on February 12 before upcoming Lok Sabha polls when the BJP distanced itself from its ruling ally Jannayak Janata Party bidding a farewell to the alliance. After this, the Chief Minister Manohar Lal also resigned from the post and Naib Singh Saini was appointed the new CM.
