HARYANA TO SET UP HELP DESK AT MUMBAI AIRPORT TO ASSIST RETURNING HARYANVI STUDENTS

In order to provide assistance to bring our stranded students in Ukraine, Haryana Government will set up a help desk at Mumbai Airport to help the students returning to the country. This help desk will start functioning from Wednesday. Three police personnel and a HAFED official have been sent to Mumbai for this. The help desk will make arrangements for the students from Haryana who arrive at Mumbai to reach Delhi. In view of the Ukraine crisis, the Haryana Government has already set up a Help Desk at Delhi Airport to help the students.

Meanwhile, to assist the residents and students of Haryana stuck in Ukraine, the government has appointed Sanjay Joon as the nodal officer at the state-level. At the district level, the Deputy Commissioner will be the nodal officer. The government has set up a State-Level Control Room at the Divisional Commissioner’s office, Faridabad. This Control Room will function continuously for 24 hours. For the smooth functioning of this Control Room employees have been been put on duty in different shifts.

The government has contacted all such families based in Haryana whose members have gone to Ukraine. Now, the government has put an officer of at least Tehsildar level to interact with these families. The officials have been instructed to visit their home and assure the relatives that all the citizens stuck in Ukraine will be brought back safely. Meanwhile, the government has helped Mansi Mangla from Ballabhgarh. Mansi Mangla has reached the Indian Embassy in Poland. Now, all facilities have been provided to Mansi by the officials of the Indian Embassy. The administrative officials talked to Mansi Mangla and assured that soon arrangements would be made for her safe return to India.

In a conversation with the SDM of Ballabhgarh, Trilokchand, the family members expressed satisfaction over the efforts of the government and said that with the help of the government, their daughter would be able to return home soon.
