Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Gian Chand Gupta visited the residence of Sarvisha Sharma in Sector 17 here today and congratulated her upon her selection as Civil Judge. Sarvisha achieved this feat in the first attempt by securing the 11th position in the Punjab Judicial Services Examination.
Mr Gupta offered sweets to Sarvisha and wished her a bright future. Mayor Municipal Corporation, Mr Kulbhushan Goyal, Sarvisha’s father Dr Subhash Sharma and mother Dr Pankaj Mala Sharma were also present.
Mr Gupta said that Sarvisha has brought laurels not only to Haryana and Panchkula but also to Sector 17 as he himself is also a resident of this Sector. He congratulated Sarvisha’s parents for inculcating moral values in their daughter and providing a conducive environment for Education. He expressed hope that just as Sarvisha’s father Dr Subhash Sharma and mother Dr Pankaj Mala Sharma is serving the poor people, in a similar manner, Sarvisha will also work towards providing speedy justice to the people without any discrimination and fear.
Though the Judiciary is a challenging job, he is confident that Sarvisha will ensure that no person, especially the poor, is deprived of justice, he added.
Sarvisha Sharma completed her LLB and LLM from the University Institute of Legal Studies, Punjab University. Sarvisha will get her first posting after completing one year of training at Chandigarh Judicial Academy, Sector-43. Sarvisha said that her endeavour will be to ensure that injustice is not done to any person. Sarvisha’s father Dr. Subhash Sharma said that daughters have always brought glory to their parents and Sarvisha is also one of them. He said that by joining Judicial Services, she has proved that daughters are not lagging behind sons in any field. Sarvisha has achieved this feat with a stint of hard work and dedication.
