The situation is worsening due to increasing pollution in Haryana. The orders have been issued not to hold classes in schools from 9th November to 12th class in Panipat, though the schools up to class 5 were closed yesterday. These orders have currently been issued till November 13. In view of Air pollution, holidays have been declared in all schools from nursery to 12th in Sonipat district on 9th and 10th November.
In Rewari, DC Rahul Hooda has imposed Section 144. He gave a strict warning that officers should not sit idly by. Take concrete steps to control environment and air pollution. He said that construction should not be allowed in the area where there is a construction ban.
The Primary schools have already been closed in 7 districts which includes Jind, Kaithal, Panipat, Rohtak, Gurugram, Faridabad and Jhajjar districts. In Gurugram and Faridabad, the use of petrol cars (BS-3) older than 2010 and diesel cars older than 2017 (BS-4) has been banned.
Meanwhile, the weather is going to take a turn before Diwali. This change can be seen tomorrow i.e. on the night of 9th November. Under this change, there is a possibility of strong winds along with thunderstorms in some districts of the state. There are chances of drizzle at some places on November 10.The weather in Haryana is likely to remain generally dry for the next 2 days, but there will be a change in the weather due to the partial effect of western disturbance. There is also a possibility of drop in night temperature due to dry weather and north-westerly winds from November 11. The Air Quality Index (AQI) is very bad in Haryana. The air of Hisar and Fatehabad has not cleared yet. The air condition remains serious in both these districts. There are 13 districts of the state where the air is in the worst category. There may be a change in the weather from the night of 9th November. Due to change in weather, smog has reduced in the districts of the state, where 2 days ago the air condition in 8 districts was in severe category due to smog.
